Office 365 Multi-Factor Authentication
On November 3, 2021, multi-factor authentication (MFA) will be added to faculty Office 365 accounts. This means you will not be able to get into your Office 365 account (college email account, 词, Excel, PowerPoint OneDrive) without setting an authentication device. This helps prevent cybercriminals, 黑客, and “bad actors” from gaining access to your personal information.

什么是MFA?
MFA is a method of authentication requiring more than one verification method and adds a second layer of security to user sign-ins and transactions. It works by requiring you to log in and then use one of these verification methods:
- A randomly generated passcode or use of an authenticator app
- A phone call and press of the # key are needed to verify
For assistance with enrolling:
- Attend a help session via Zoom, and an IT representative will lead you through the process
